What better Vermont product or business profile to showcase for this event than the Cabot Creamery co-op ?? Yeah Thats what I thought as well, especially as they celebrate their 100th birthday this year.

Drove  over to the location Friday to get set up as requested by the event organizers I was early & the place looked rather bleak when I arrived, since I was the 1st one there.

I brightened it up a tad after getting the basic setup done and then I boogied out of there to head back to the ranch.

Got up early Saturday morning heading over to finalize our site and go to work and I was a little surprised to find out it was snowing and we got about an 1,5" of fresh snow which was not an issue since the road was ok and by the time I reached Wolcott it was gone.

So I arrived over there without a problem and Josie and I wrapped up the setup minus the cheese just waiting for the flag to drop for the opening.
She was ready to go so bring it on !!

Old McDonald had a farm E-I-E-I-O. And on his farm he had a cow, E-I-E-I-O. With a "moo-moo" here ... aah never mind you all know that song already, but here is a picture of the real McDonald's and the reason we are here today is for families just like this.

Pictures of a few of our neighbors for the event.

These ladies from "Wood's Maple Syrup" had all kinds of great Maple syrup.
They make a Ghost Pepper infused Maple syrup that is really good if you like sweet and spicy stuff Like I do.

Every one is about ready for opening which is getting close.

Once the gavel dropped things were busy from the beginning to closing both days,
they sold about 3500 adult tickets and kids were free so not sure how many that would make total but it was a healthy number I'm sure.

Sunday Beth Kennett took over for Josie and Beth and I have known each other for several years.
Beth and her husband Bob are Cabot Farmers and also own and run the

"Liberty Hill Farm Inn"

One of these days I need to get a new camera this one has about had it.

Anyway.

We were visited by a couple, Peter and Susan McLaren.
They operate the "West Hill Inn" located in Warren Vermont.

Also stopping by was VT, Governor Phil Scott, Beth and Phil were having a lengthy chat while I was talking to his Security person.

It was a repeat of the crowd from Saturday so we were busy all day Sunday as well. We were totally engaged 95% of the time so the time went by quickly.

The next thing we
knew it was time for me to load up head home and Rest, but Beth had to go home and do chores..
~
By the way Holly Burnham, who works for  Fox 44 news, won the Raffle for the Gift Bag of Cheese she was a very excited camper for sure.
She came over to visit and thank the Farmers for her gift

This was a very successful and fun event and we all had fun participating in it.
Glad I could be a part of it.
Jim Ovr'n Out.
