Burton Snowboards headquartered in Burlington Vermont hosted a "Pray 4 Snow" party, and quite a party indeed.
Burton was recently honored by receiving their B Corp Certification and are now added to the 33 others headquartered in Vermont.
The Party was something everyone should attend but if you missed it you missed a beauty.
We, "Cabot Cheese" was there to do our part in helping their cause "Praying for Snow" and why would Burton not pray for snow being in the the snowboard business ?
There was Beer provided by "Grazing Over Green" NE style IPA, all kinds of food and swag, and 100% of tickets price will go to a non profit partner
"Protect Our Winters" a very worthy cause
Entertainment was provided by the group "After Funk"
Burton could shred the slopes all winter if we have snow, but we can shred cheese regardless, and we'll do our best to help.

Had to be there early to get set before folks started to trickle in and security had to make sure things were secure and inspect all those who would be coming in.
So I was.
Headquarters.
Warehouse where the shindig was taking place.
So I got there early and got my tent all set up.
Of Course Burton was there already.
Shortly there after others were showing up as well.
REI Co-op.
Burton had their sign-in table and all their Swag was there as well, like the
"Pray for Snow" Togue's
The Band showed up and started to get all warmed up.
Most everyone at this time were finalizing their site.
Then they opened up and folks started to c'mon in.
Then the beverage table next to me opened and the line filled quickly.
After that started and the band started playing things livened up rather quickly.
Then it was a constant flow of happy people stopping by the rest of the night.
Once the Malted beverage started to take over it was all fun and games .
One of the last to stop by were a couple of Norse Gods who were more than a little ecstatic about our cheese.
About 10:15 the band had folded and people were fading out since 10:30 was the official closing time and I figured it was best to do the same .
So I did.
They say there was a little over 300 people in attendance and I think that was about right since most stopped by the table some way more than once.
As you can see it was rather dark in there and also pretty loud too.
But a fun filled and worthwhile event.
Glad I could be a part of it.
